Hiring a Calibration Company vs In-House Calibration

Locating a vendor that can perform calibration on all your equipment can be a job within itself. When requested equipment is beyond JM Test’s expansive list of calibration and repair scope, JM Test will find an accredited third-party vendor that can perform these services through our outsourced calibration program. Our dedicated administrative team that will handle the research, shipping, RMA (Return Material Authorization) forms, and vendor approval documents.

JM Test Systems controls their policy and guidelines on evaluating, qualifying, and selecting third-party vendors to perform calibration and repair services. This policy is defined and maintained in JM Test Systems 17025 Quality Manual and Documents. To be placed on JM Test System’s Approved Vendor List (AVL) their qualifications must match the specific service requests standards for the units in question, including ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) approved accredited bodies.
