Seaward PV210 Complete Kit
The Seaward PV210 is a small, reasonably priced I-V curve tracer that operates with a single push button, making it an effective and adaptable tester for PV systems. The instrument has a storage capacity of 999 datasets, and after being downloaded to the SolarCert program, comparisons to the usual test conditions can be made.
The tester monitors maximum power point voltage, current, and power (with AC/DC clamp), as well as open circuit voltage, short circuit current, and ground continuity (earth). You can also get the PV module or testing system’s fill factor from the instrument.
Since the PV210 features a separate 1kV insulation resistance test function, no additional, pricey equipment is required. Meanwhile, the device’s high contrast display may be seen clearly in bright sunshine.
Additionally, the Solar Survey 210R’s real-time irradiance, ambient temperature, and PV module temperature can be electronically captured and recorded by the device. Your data can be translated to standard test settings in SolarCerts using the Solar Survey 200R so that you can compare it to the manufacturer’s published data.
