Safety while working on high voltage vehicles should be a top concern for any technician or engineer involved in developing, diagnosing, or repairing hybrid or electric vehicles. Hybrid vehicles use high voltage batteries and electric motors for power, if left unprotected, you could be seriously injured. Technicians who service these vehicles are recommended to wear Class 0 Electrical Glove, rated rubber insulated gloves, which are identified by a red label as well as leather protectors. Each kit also comes with a bottle of Salisbury 10-4 Glove Dust to provide extra comfort and to prevent gloves from getting sticky while in use. These gloves are the safety equipment you need to work on electric vehicles.
All gloves from JM Test Systems are tested in our lab before being sent out. Electrical gloves must also be retested every 6 months.
