The Raytech TR-Mark II system is made to be simple to use and comprehend. The system is relatively easy to comprehend and use after the buttons and few choices are grasped. This clever technology examines a transformer’s setup and automatically takes all necessary measurements for Voltage Ratio, Turns Ratio, Current, and Phase Displacement. With just one click of a button, the system can complete a three-phase testing procedure. To test, connect the leads, choose the transformer configuration, and press GO.

The TR-Mark III 250V is a high accuracy, completely automatic, microprocessor-based device for testing the turns ratio of single and three phase transformers. This technology is made to provide on-site, laboratory-quality readings that are extremely accurate. It is the most precise system on the market.

This newly created measurement method includes a rectification resolution circuit for phase displacement and a high precision dual-vector voltage meter for ratio readings (vector group). Without the need for human interaction, the phase displacement (vector group) can be automatically recognized and shown.

The TR-Mark III 250V applies a tiny voltage to the transformer’s HIGH winding side and then measures the result through the transformer’s LOW side. The system makes an analysis and decides if a test can go ahead. The system then applies the test voltage to the transformer’s HIGH winding side and monitors the voltage that returns through the transformer’s LOW side. The safest form of ratio testing has been found to be this approach. On the simple to read touch-screen display, the results are shown.

The system starts up by performing a self-calibrating and circuit checking routine. The operator is informed right away if any issues are found either during this initialization phase or while the system is in use. The condition of the transformer being tested is continuously monitored by the system. Even shorted leads can be detected by the TR-Mark III 250V, which will then end the test without causing any harm to the test tools. This is particularly effective when test leads unintentionally come loose from the transformer during full voltage measurement. The measurement is safely stopped when the test leads on the High and Low voltage side are accidentally switched.

The TR-Mark III requires no maintenance due to the utilization of high accuracy components of the design.
