HV Diagnostics HVA28TD VLF/DC Hipot Tester with Integrated Tan Delta

An integrated Tan Delta measurement system has been added to the smallest VLF/DC machine currently available to perform cutting-edge electrical insulation testing. For instance, as it offers important details regarding the state of the cable insulation and shield, this can be very helpful when doing advanced diagnostics on cable systems.

According to the IEEE, the instrument automatically executes a TD test by increasing the voltage at the user-specified levels and saves the results. The HVA28 LCD display or an internal memory is used to display all test parameters, including insulation resistance, capacitance, RMS current and voltage, test durations, voltage steps, tan delta, and standard deviation.

Test results can also be remotely uploaded to a PC via Bluetooth or directly transferred to a USB memory stick for further analysis and reporting using the included TD Control Center reporting software, which is the industry standard. A calibration certificate, TD Control Center software, corona protection shields, a Bluetooth dongle, and an accessories tote are included with every machine.
