Course Description:

Electrical Safety Training for Utilities is a specialized course designed to equip utility workers, including line workers, technicians, and maintenance personnel, with the knowledge, skills, and procedures required to safely work on or near electrical distribution and transmission systems. Utility environments involve high-voltage equipment, overhead and underground lines, substations, and other infrastructure where electrical hazards can pose serious risks if proper safety practices are not followed.

Lab Time and Prerequisites:

Attendees should have basic electrical training.  Some field experience is also recommended, but not mandatory.
