The LinkIQ™ Tester is the go-to tool for verifying cable performance up to 10 Gb/s and quickly identifying network connectivity issues—no need for extra devices. It uses frequency-based testing and wire mapping to confirm proper cable installation and performance. The new DUO model adds Wi-Fi testing, including visibility into Wi-Fi 6E (where approved), available networks, access points, and channels—plus alerts on common setup problems. The IE (Industrial Ethernet) models support RJ45, M12X, M12D, and M8D connectors and can identify issues like split pairs or miswires—ideal for systems using PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, and more.

The LinkIQ Duo tester also flags common configuration errors including:

• use of an illegal channel for the detected region
• use of a non-recommended channel
• access points that overlap with an adjacent access point unless one is low power
• weak security settings
