Product Overview: Thermoprobe TP9-A Petroleum Gauging Thermometer
Thermoprobe TP9-A Petroleum Gauging Thermometer
The Thermoprobe TP9-A is a Zone 0 intrinsically safe digital measuring thermometer that has been redesigned to meet the most recent safety regulations for usage in hazardous environments. ThermoProbe has designed the TP9-A with reliable, high accuracy RTD sensors based on our previous industry-standard thermometers such as the TP7-C and TP9. With over 30 years of experience manufacturing digital thermometers, ThermoProbe has designed the TP9-A with reliable, high accuracy RTD sensors based on our previous industry-standard thermometers such as the TP7-C and TP9.
Based on our laboratory thermometer technology, the current TP9-A electronics are more accurate than prior generations. The user interface features a huge 1/2″ alpha numeric character display and buttons that are easy to operate while wearing gloves. In low-light situations, an automatic backlight feature is included to assist with reading the display. The user can quickly select Celsius or Fahrenheit values, display resolution, and calibration via a simple menu. The user can detect temperature stability, battery state, and menu items with the use of icons on the display. The TP9-A is powered by two easily replaceable AA batteries that can last up to 200 hours.
Stainless steel and static-dissipative plastic components make up the sturdy instrument body of the TP9-A. The TP9-A’s ergonomic probe storage and stainless construction make it ideal for gauging heavy, difficult-to-clean goods like asphalt. The TP9 is well suited to numerous tank gauging applications, with multiple probe designs and allowed lengths up to 50 meters (165 feet). The probe assembly is made of easy-to-clean materials like stainless steel and non-stick cable.
The TP9-A is recognized with international (IECEx), European (ATEX), and EurAsian (TR TS) safety certificates.
