Product Overview: Thermoprobe TP7-D Petroleum Gauging Thermometer
Thermoprobe TP7-D Petroleum Gauging Thermometer
Zone 0 Intrinsically Safe Portable Petroleum Gauging Thermometer for Cargo Inspection in Hazardous Locations – Spool Design
The TP7-D is a Zone 0 intrinsically safe digital gauging thermometer that has been redesigned to meet the most recent safety regulations for usage in hazardous environments. ThermoProbe has designed the TP7-D with reliable RTD sensors based on our previous industry-standard thermometers such as the TP7-C and TP9. With over 30 years of experience manufacturing digital thermometers, ThermoProbe has designed the TP7-D with reliable RTD sensors based on our previous industry-standard thermometers such as the TP7-C and TP9.
The latest TP7-D electronics are more accurate than earlier models, thanks to our laboratory thermometer technology. The user interface features a large 1/2″ alpha-numeric character display and buttons that are easy to operate while wearing gloves. The display has an automatic lighting feature that makes it easier to read in low light. The user can quickly select Celsius or Fahrenheit values, display resolution, and calibration via a simple menu. The user can detect temperature stability, battery state, and menu items with the use of icons on the display. The TP7-D is powered by two easily replaceable AA batteries that can last up to 200 hours.
Stainless steel and static-dissipative plastic components make up the robust instrument body of the TP7-D. The TP7-D’s spool-reel design makes it easy to insert and remove the sensor probe from a variety of goods. The TP7-D is well suited to numerous tank gauging applications, with multiple probe configurations and allowed lengths up to 50 meters (165 feet). The probe assembly is made of easy-to-clean materials like stainless steel and non-stick cable.
The TP7-D is recognized with international (IECEx), European (ATEX), and EurAsian (TR TS) safety certificates.
