Product Overview: Fujikura 70R Ribbon Fusion Splicer – Obsolete
Fujikura 70R Ribbon Fusion Splicer
The Fujikura 70R is a rugged, high-performance fusion splicer designed specifically for ribbon optical fiber applications. Built for efficiency and durability, it simplifies the splicing process, helping technicians complete jobs faster and with greater precision.
Smarter Splicing with Configurable Automation
The 70R features advanced configurable automation, allowing users to tailor the splicer’s operation to match their unique workflow. A programmable automatic wind protector activates the splice process automatically once fibers are clamped or the “Set” button is pressed. After the splice is complete, it opens automatically, allowing for fast and easy fiber removal.
Fast Heating, Durable Design
Its innovative clamshell-style tube heater applies heat from both sides, reducing shrink time to just 40 seconds—significantly speeding up your splicing cycle.
