Fujikura 41S Fusion Splicer

The Fujikura 41S is an active cladding alignment fusion splicer with complete ruggedization. In any active cladding alignment splicer in the world, core sensing loss estimation technology offers the most reliable measurement of splice loss. The 41S can assess the accuracy of core alignment by evaluating the splice during the heating process, thanks to Warm Splice Imaging (WSI). This technology offers more reliable splice loss estimates than those focused solely on cladding alignment. The CT50 Cleaver features cutting-edge cleaver management via Bluetooth® link, which monitors use and allows for automated blade rotation as required. The active V-groove alignment system with dual cameras ensures consistent splicing efficiency even in the most difficult conditions. Unrivaled speed and productivity are supported by a 6-second splice time and a 25-second shrink time, while menu navigation is quick and intuitive thanks to an easy-to-use touchscreen display. Interchangeable sheath clamps or fiber holders offer flexibility and compatibility with fusion installable connectors, depending on the user’s preferences. Up to 200 splice and heat cycles are possible with the extended-life battery. Electrodes with a long life span of 5,000 splices help to reduce downtime for replacement and stabilization. Even in direct sunlight, the wide 5″ display provides a crystal clear picture. Users can upgrade their software through the internet as new splice applications become available, enabling them to do so quickly.
