SLP5-5 Single-Mode Loss Test Kits
The SLP5-5 kits are built to be durable and are specifically designed for loss testing and certifying fiber networks in accordance with industry standards. Each kit comes with a triple-wavelength laser source and an OPM5 optical power meter. The OPM5 boasts a backlit display, ensuring excellent readability in both dim lighting and direct sunlight. The kit’s interchangeable adapters facilitate easy connection to standard optical network interfaces and make cleaning of launch and receive ports more straightforward.
OLS2-Dual Laser Source
This single-port laser source (1310 and 1550 nm) is perfect for assessing insertion loss on single-mode fiber optic connections. It delivers a highly stable output (single or dual wavelength), providing accurate insertion loss measurements that comply with TIA/EIA standards. With its built-in 2 kHz test tone, it works seamlessly with optical fiber identifiers (OFI-BI/PM or OFI-400) for precise fiber identification.
OLS7 Triple Wavelength Laser Sources
OLS7 laser sources are single-port devices designed for insertion loss measurements on single-mode fiber optic networks. They offer highly stabilized outputs in single, dual, or triple wavelengths and deliver quick, reliable loss test results that comply with TIA/EIA standards.
- OLS7-FTTH: Designed for FTTH networks at 1310, 1490, and 1550 nm.
- OLS7-3: Offers 1310, 1550, and 1625 nm wavelengths for Telecom and CATV applications.
OPM5 Optical Power Meter
The OPM5 delivers precise measurements, with reference storage for each calibrated wavelength, and detects multiple test tones for fiber identification (Wave ID). It features user-friendly data management, allowing easy separation of test results into files, with quick transfer to a PC via USB for professional report generation using TRM® 3.0 software.
Automatic Wavelength Identification
The Wave ID feature automatically detects and sets the receive wavelength(s), enhancing efficiency and reducing technician errors by eliminating the need to test each wavelength separately.
Test Results Storage, Transfer, and Post-Processing with TRM® 3.0
The OPM5’s file management system organizes test results into multiple files, which can be transferred to a PC via USB for analysis and report generation with TRM® 3.0 Basic Test Results Manager software. TRM® 3.0 supports standards-based reporting with Pass/Fail results and calculated headroom.
