The Senseware TC-229/4P is a universal flame detector test lamp, designed to activate UV, IR, and UV/IR flame detectors that operate within the 185-235 nm UV range and the wideband IR spectrum. It is intended for use in safe areas only and is not compatible with dual IR (IR/IR) or triple IR (IR3 or IR/IR/IR) flame detectors.
Universal Compatibility: The TC-229/4P is suitable for all UV flame detectors, single-frequency IR flame detectors, and combination UV/IR detectors. It is not compatible with dual or triple IR flame detectors.
Extended Range: Equipped with a powerful 100W broadband source, the test lamp emits both UV and IR energy, enabling most flame detectors to be activated from a distance of over 4 meters when fully charged.
User-Friendly Operation: The rechargeable battery provides 10 to 15 minutes of operation under normal conditions. Users can easily select the detector type with the switch on the side of the housing and activate the lamp by pulling the trigger.
The included carrying case protects the test lamp, battery, charger, and accessories, and shields the lamp’s reflector from dust during storage.
