Fast Calibration with Automatic Output Stepping

Improve calibration speed by selecting 2, 3, 5, 11, or 21 automatic output steps. The PIECAL 311 can increment output by 100%, 50%, 25%, 10%, or 5% of span, with selectable step times from 5 to 60 seconds to match your system requirements.

Compatible with Virtually Any Process Instrument

The PIECAL 311 is designed to work with a wide range of process instruments. Connect directly to the RTD inputs of smart transmitters, PLCs, DCS systems, and multichannel recorders to verify outputs or displays. It supports both older instruments with fixed excitation currents and newer multichannel instruments that switch excitation current between input channels.

Measure RTD Sensors

Troubleshoot sensor connections and detect broken wires using patented technology. Connect two-, three-, or four-wire RTDs and the PIECAL 311 automatically identifies the wiring configuration and measures the RTD directly in °C or °F. A secondary display also shows the resistance value that corresponds to the RTD temperature.
