Introducing the MSA TL 105 Test Lamp, a rechargeable, battery-operated device designed for testing General Monitors’ UV, UV/IR, and IR flame detectors. It provides a high-energy, broadband radiation source that emits sufficient UV and IR energy to activate flame detectors, making it ideal for simulating fire and verifying detector functionality.

The TL 105 is suitable for hazardous environments (Class I, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups C and D). Powered by nickel-metal hydride batteries, it offers at least 45 minutes of continuous operation. An internal circuit prevents use when the battery is low, ensuring safe operation.

With a rotary switch, the TL 105 offers multiple flashing test patterns to easily check flame detectors, including the FL3000/3100 and FL4000 series. It triggers alarms or test modes by selecting the appropriate pattern for each detector.
