Ametek PK II Pneumatic Deadweight Tester

The AMETEK PK II Pneumatic Deadweight Tester is a primary standard that produces a pressure by applying force (weight set) over area (the ceramic ball and nozzle). The PK II tester is NIST traceable and accurate to +/- 0.015% using stainless steel weights calibrated to international standard gravity at 980.665cm/sec2. The PK II tester is self-regulating with accuracy independent of the operator. The tester utilizes a virtually frictionless ceramic ball floating on a layer of air within a stainless steel cylinder. The PK II tester features a cast-metal base with a quick leveling system for field or lab setup. The unit may also be mounted to an optional tripod for more convenient setup. The tester may be operated with the cover opened or closed. Weights are located in foam-protective slots in the case. The PK II testers are optionally available with an accuracy of +0.015%. Calibration to your local gravity is available for all stainless steel models. Please provide your gravity when ordering.

Ametek HK Deadweight Tester

The AMETEK HK Pneumatic Deadweight Tester is a primary standard used to calibrate pressure and differential pressure gauges, transmitters, transducers, recorders and controllers, and that can provide a reference pressure in process control applications.
  The HK tester is self-regulating with accuracy independent of the operator. These testers feature superior accuracy and repeatability and a pre-fill feature that minimizes the filling of large static output volumes before the test.

    The HK tester is available in these ranges:
        • 10 to 300 PSIG
        • 10 to 500 PSG
        • 10 to 700 PSIG
        • 10 to 1000 PSIG
        • 10 to 1500 PSIG
The HK tester is very easy to setup and use. The unit’s precision stainless steel weights are calibrated for international specific gravity of 980.665cm/sec2.

Ametek HL Hydraulic Deadweight Tester

The Ametek HL Deadweight Tester extremely compact, self-contained portable tester is designed for pressure ranges from 10-200 psi (1-15 bar) up to 50-3,000 psi (5-225 bar). Accurate to ±0.05% of reading, the unit features an easy-to-use screw pump with ratcheting handle and re-entrant type piston/cylinder assembly. This helps maintain accuracy as the test pressure increases. Weights and piston assemblies are interchangeable. The unit's AAA tester oil may be easily inspected through the transparent reservoir. Compact design in only 9 x 9 x 10 in (23 x 23 x 24.5 cm). A tripod option is available for field applications.

Ametek Type T Deadweight Tester

The Ametek Type T Deadweight Tester is a high accuracy deadweight tester and ideal for laboratory or field use. The type T tester uses distilled water or fluid compatible with 300 series stainless steel and MONEL (including AAA tester oil). For applications up to 15,000 psi (1,000 bar). An optional dual piston lets you interchange piston/cylinder assemblies to extend the pressure measurement range using the same weight set. A kit is available for converting to a dual column tester.
